Replacement Needed
The ceiling fan that we put into the patio porch in 1998 gave it up. Kaput! Our patio porch had just been tricked out when the fan was installed. Of course, no one in St. James had one. Right now it is more important than ever to keep the air moving to dry out the cement under the subfloor. A trip to Mankato was warranted. For a whopping $29.99 plus tax we will be in high cotton. Nothing fancy needed. All were 42 inches and we will have one glass fixture. Simplicity is perfect for the patio porch. Friend Bruce is visiting tomorrow, and between he and the old cowboy, the air will be moving before nightfall.
Yesterday I was suited up with my yellow winter jacket and red stocking cap and it was comfortable. Today when we got home from Mankato, I struck out in a knit shirt and nothing on the head. 60 degrees felt wonderful. The southeast wind had me breathing kind of heavy as I rounded the corner coming home. Why do I put myself through this? I need to stay mobile. If the body stays mobile the mind will also rise to the occasion. Challenging myself is what my game is on a daily basis. It’s a good thing.
