Oh My Oh My

It is six in the afternoon and it feels really warm out.

We had no internet service for most of yesterday and last night.  Someone dug where they shouldn’t have.  Everyone survived.

Today I had a road trip doing it solo to the north.  It was time to check out Bird Island and Gathering Friends Quilt Shop.  They have closed up the second floor that they had used for showcasing kits and quilts on display featuring those patterns.  It got to be too dangerous with the steep steps.  They do have generous street level square footage.  I bought nothing as I have no plan in place to purchase anything for.  The plan first and purchase second.

I stopped at the kid’s shop in Fairfax.  Kersten was done at Casey’s for the day and Kevin finished the headlights on his last customer’s vehicle of the day.  I know the weekend is appreciated by both.

As I drove into our home on Stauffer Avenue after the day out and about, the yard work that we did yesterday looked very sharp indeed.

Dennis had a quiet day here at home.  I am looking for more of the same over the weekend.  Let the events of summer take those that enjoy heat in close proximity . . . not for me.

The best part of coming home this late afternoon was that Dennis saved a cup of coffee for me.  Sweet!
