Lists are Good
Thanksgiving is getting close and I have my shopping list for the last minute items. There is a fantastic carrot casserole that Carrie and Kevin both like. Par-cooked carrots layered multiple times with finely chopped sauteed onions and Velveeta cheese, topped with crushed Ritz crackers. For the first time I am trying the cheesecake that is topped with Raspberry gelatin and whole raspberries. I am thrilled to have the house humming that day and I know Dennis will be my wing man. His stipulation is that he starts the dishes after the meal so as to allow the living room to get back to some semblance of utility. Hey, small homes do not preclude that we can’t push furniture aside for a good sit-down meal. Good times are anticipated.
