“How great Thou art!” For this sunshine filled day, it was a day to give thanks. How did we honor this type of day? Dennis and I hung out quilts on the clotheslines. While the slightest of breezes worked their magic out on the clotheslines, the beds were stripped and the laundry was in high cotton.
The thermostat was given a well deserved break as we cracked open windows on all sides of our forever home.
It is now the end of the day. The beds have been dressed with fresh bedding. It may have been a wonderful God-given day, but it would not have been warm enough to be able to dry the flannel bedding on the clotheslines. Go GE washer and dryer! When Dennis came in from the patio porch about three, the windows were closed. As the sun moves to the west the change in degrees is soon felt.
We are going into the evening hours, showered and ready to enjoy some Swedish meatballs and pasta for supper. The week went fast.
I didn’t spend any amount of time in the sewing studio today. I was content with my fabric purchases of yesterday. When I took the velvet yardage out of the Hobby Lobby bag this afternoon and casually tossed the existing Santa hat onto it . . . it was as close of a match in color as possible. I knew the Santa Project was going to be work out well in time to come. Yup, Friday night and I am content.
