Doctor Day

Today we met with the surgical team on a follow up of the January 11th surgery.

The stitches came out of the foot.  Drum roll!

There is a 1/2 cm on the right side of the incision to close up.  On the left side of the incision, and that is where the little toe was rotting off, there is a 2cm area to heal and close up.

We will return in two weeks as there are new instructions for this wound care.  I will be changing the dressing every day.  It is all doable from Stauffer Avenue.

Yippee for me, I purchased “C” batteries for my radio.  All four will be changed out at one time.  KNUJ, we are back in business.

There is quite a bit of the day remaining, but . . . I am whipped.  Lots of medical jargon to take in, none of which impacts Dennis.  His responsibility is to take off the Velcro boot, and then . . . hands off.

The wind has settled down and the sun is back to doing, what it does best.

Catch you all tomorrow.
