Sometimes —

After all of the “have to” work is done there sneaks up some quiet time and I just sit back and take in my surroundings.  Some of it I like.  I like it a lot.  Some totally stymies me.  Today was a day when the living room just didn’t fit me anymore.  Down came the curtains.  Out came a huge tote.  I am not sure what is going to go beyond getting the tote out and washed up, but it is a start.  I think Dennis was very happy to get out of here and go to an eye appointment.  That’s fair.  I might not really want to hang around here either if I knew what the rest of the story was going to be.  In all fairness, I should have stayed on the patio where the surroundings are very appealing.

the-thinking-spotOne area of the home I always enjoy is my sitting spot.  Several library books come in handy when the body tells me it is time for a break.  Going with a brew of instant coffee during the mid day allows for a calm.  With this day it might just be the calm before a storm.
