70 degrees and it felt as if our wonderful summer is right around the corner. As I walk the gardens, it amazes me the various heights of the Hosta plants. Some are barely peeking out and others are over a foot in diameter.

Dennis attended his Korean Veterans luncheon today and I had the little red pickup going here and there for my errand list. I dropped Dennis off at eleven and was ready to pick him up at one. I can still make tracts when the need arises.

I don’t believe we have had a single garden hose attachment that has lasted through one season. Generally, the small clip that holds the water stream to run continuously is not of the same quality as the rest of the tool. Today at Lowe’s I looked and checked the tags as to which would be best. I did take two different models for our two outside sources of water. Time will tell.

I hit Sam’s Club, Drummer’s Nursery and Lowe’s. I admit, I did catch a bit of a cat nap while Dennis drove this ole “Miss Daisy” home. I can’t shop like I used to, but if one would have looked in the back of the pickup . . . it was fairly full. It is not how many hours you shop, it’s how quickly you can shop when you are organized.
