One More Time

One more time the Korean Veterans met for their meeting.  Now . . . June 7th is to be the last.  When an organization has collected monies from chartable functions or in dues, it isn’t that easy to throw in the towel when the national organization has gotten involved.  A quorum has to meet with all officers present.  Four veterans appeared for this meeting,  no way were things going to be done or to happen today.

Today at 66 degrees . . . hmm . . . it felt warm.

Dennis and I had dinner at the meeting and we are calling it as the meal of the day.

All that remains for tasks of the day is to dress Dennis’ wound.  Yesterday, Dan explained to Dennis why he uses silver nitrate on the area around the wound.  Successful healing is when it comes from the bottom to the surface.  Weak tissue that wants to scum over the top isn’t going to turn out satisfactorily.  Good thing we have trained eyes on the wound.

Enjoy hump day one and all.
